You may be surprised at how simple it is to turn your existing stereo into an amazing streaming music setup with the Sonos Port. You can link a Sonos Port to your stereo, home theatre, or powered speakers to stream music to them using the Sonos Controller App and Apple AirPlay 2 connectivity. This treats your existing sound equipment to a Sonos upgrade, without having to replace everything. Expand your sound system any time by adding Sonos speakers around your home. Bring the Sonos experience to your existing stereo or receiver, and enjoy endless possibilities for multi-room listening.

Stream audio to a stereo system with the Sonos Port. Featuring an audio line-in port that lets you connect CD players and record players, while the line-out supports RCA or SPDIF connections for amplified audio equipment. The Sonos Port features easy-to-use controls so you can adjust volume, bass and treble, and the Ethernet port supports high-speed connections. You can also enjoy high-speed wireless connectivity with built-in 802.11b/g Wi-Fi connectivity.

The Sonos Port has been engineered and designed keeping in mind easy connectivity and operation. To facilitate this, Sonos Port is equipped with a 12V trigger that automatically turns your amplifier on so you can press play and enjoy your music. No extra steps are needed. Sonos Port has been cleverly designed with a Rack Mount design to place the Port on a shelf or easily mount it on an AV rack to work closely with your other stereo equipment. The minimalist finish of the Port will compliment all of your equipment quite well.

Sonos Port can be accessed with a dedicated Sonos app that extends the feature set of the speaker. The Sonos app works with 80 streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora, Amazon Music and YouTube Music to make listening to music as simple as possible. Sonos Port also comes with support for AirPlay 2, allowing you to stream directly from your Apple devices. You can even your smartphone as a remote by downloading the app on your Android or iOS device to send photos, music and video to your TV.

: While both Port and Amp offer streaming capabilities and allow you to incorporate wired speakers in your Sonos system, the main difference between the products is amplification. Amp powers passive speakers, such as in-wall or in-ceiling speakers. Port cannot power audio equipment, which means it requires either a powered amplifier or active speakers.
: You'll need a turntable with a phono preamp as well as speakers. Plug in a standard audio-in connection to the back of Port, then open the Sonos app and go select Line-in from the Browse menu.
