The ZEN Blue V2 supports all current and future Bluetooth codecs including Qualcomm’s aptX, aptX Low Latency, aptX Adaptive and aptX HD. You get LDAC and HWA/LHDC, hi-res Bluetooth® codecs created by Sony and Huawei respectively. And, not to forget, AAC—Apple’s favoured format along with the standard SBC codec. Rest assured that the future codecs will be added to the Zen Blue V2 through over the air updates.

The iFi Audio ZEN Blue V2 comes with the Discrete ESS Sabre Hyperstream DAC chipset which ensures an extremely smooth digital to analogue conversion. This chipset consists of Hyperstream architecture with integrated Time Domain Jitter Eliminator for low distortion and high dynamic range. Any jitter is eliminated using iFi's enhanced Global Master Timing (GMT) Femto-precision clock system. It delivers >20db better performance than the previous ZEN Blue. To further reduce the noise, distortion and to widen the bandwidth, iFi Audio has incorporated a custom OV Series operational amplifier. Along with the latest Bluetooth 5.0, the Zen Blue V2 has the newest Qualcomm 5100 chip to process all incoming Bluetooth® data.

The ZEN Blue can connect to amps or active speakers via RCA and 4.4mm outputs in the balanced mode for lesser noise interference and crosstalk. You can use the optical and coaxial connections to connect to anything with a built-in DAC and corresponding digital input. This includes your TV, an AV amp or an external DAC in your hi-fi set-up.

From the analogue output stage to output, everything is balanced that helps you to experience pure high-quality sound free of noise, interference and crosstalk. To add to this, the Zen Blue V2 features high-grade components like enhanced GMT) clock circuitry, the C0G capacitors from TDK which gets a low-noise power supply from Texas Instruments turning your Zen Blue V2 into a beast.
